On-site EWP operator training

Current prices
On-site training: $150 + GST per person. A minimum charge applies. Travel is charged at $0.99/km. Online knowledge training: $59 + GST per person, where available. Prices are valid through 31 March 2027.
Get a quote for on-site training. Include your site address, learner numbers, experience, machine types and preferred dates. Ask for a quote for weekend or shift work.
Location, duration and group size
Training takes place at your site, using suitable equipment. It usually takes one day or less. Refresher practical observations may take less time than novice training. Groups are generally 12 or fewer, depending on experience, equipment and the agreed scope. We confirm the programme and charges in your quote.
Knowledge, practical skills and records
The on-site programme includes knowledge assessment, practical training and observations within the agreed scope. Learners need suitable preparation and supervised practice. Training records describe the work completed and the equipment covered.
An online knowledge certificate does not, by itself, establish practical competence or authorise an operator. Employers must check competence on the actual equipment and tasks, provide appropriate coaching and supervision, and authorise work. Tell us before booking if you require specific unit standards or evidence for a particular site.

Assistance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), company procedures and systems is free for VerifyME customers who have paid for on-site training.

Can we cover boom lifts and scissor lifts on the same day?
Yes, subject to suitable equipment being available and enough time for the agreed training and practical observations. Include both machine types in your enquiry.
Who authorises an operator?
The employer or other responsible business authorises work after checking the person’s skills, equipment familiarity, task risks and supervision needs. A certificate or training record does not replace that decision.
How often should operators refresh their training?
VerifyME recommends a review at least every two years. This is our recommendation, rather than a universal legal expiry date. Review sooner after unsafe operation, an incident, changes to equipment or work, or a lengthy break. Follow manufacturer instructions and applicable site requirements.
Can you cover other types of EWP?
Ask us about truck-mounted, trailer-mounted and vertical mast equipment. Tell us the make, model, attachments and intended work so we can confirm a suitable programme.
Are weekends or shifts available?
Ask us about availability and include your preferred times. Your quote will confirm the programme and total charges.
